Srimath Sivagnana Balaya Swamigal Tamil, Arts and Science College has constituted various statutory and non-statutory committees to ensure effective governance, student welfare, academic quality, and institutional discipline. These committees function in accordance with university norms and government regulations to maintain transparency, safety, and academic excellence.

Admission Committee


The Admission Committee supervises and regulates the entire admission process of the institution. It ensures that admissions are conducted strictly as per the guidelines of Annamalai University and the Government of Tamil Nadu.

The committee scrutinizes applications, prepares merit lists, verifies documents, and ensures adherence to reservation policies. It maintains transparency, fairness, and equal opportunity in the admission process while guiding students and parents during enrollment.

Women Development Cell (WDC)


The Women Development Cell (WDC) is established to promote the welfare, safety, and empowerment of women students and staff members. The cell addresses issues related to women’s well-being and ensures a supportive and respectful campus environment.

The WDC conducts awareness programmes, health camps, counseling sessions, and skill development activities to encourage confidence and leadership among women. The cell promotes gender equality and works towards creating a safe academic atmosphere.

Website Committee


The Website Committee is responsible for maintaining and updating the institutional website. It ensures that academic, administrative, and statutory information is regularly updated and displayed accurately.

The committee works to highlight institutional achievements, academic programmes, and student activities. It ensures compliance with NAAC, UGC, and university requirements while maintaining a user-friendly and informative digital presence.

Anti-Ragging Committee


The Anti-Ragging Committee ensures that the campus remains 100% ragging-free. The committee functions strictly in accordance with UGC and Supreme Court guidelines regarding prevention of ragging.

It conducts awareness programmes, monitors campus discipline, and addresses complaints promptly. The institution submits compliance reports to concerned authorities regularly, ensuring student safety and zero tolerance towards ragging.

Discipline Committee


The Discipline Committee is constituted to maintain order, decorum, and ethical conduct within the campus. It ensures adherence to institutional rules, dress code regulations, attendance norms, and behavioral standards.

The committee addresses cases of misconduct and takes appropriate corrective measures to maintain a peaceful academic environment.

Internal Complaints Committee (ICC)


The Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) functions as per statutory guidelines to address complaints related to harassment or misconduct. It ensures confidentiality, fairness, and timely resolution of grievances.

The committee promotes awareness about dignity, equality, and mutual respect within the campus, ensuring a safe and inclusive academic environment for all.

Naan Mudhalvan Cell


The Naan Mudhalvan Cell coordinates skill development initiatives aimed at enhancing students’ employability. It facilitates student enrollment in training programmes, monitors progress, and ensures certification completion.

The cell plays a crucial role in preparing students for industry demands through structured training in technical and professional skills.

Academic Calendar Committee


The Academic Calendar Committee is responsible for planning and organizing the academic schedule for each academic year. It prepares the academic calendar outlining instructional days, examinations, events, and holidays.

The committee ensures balanced academic planning and adherence to university regulations. Through systematic scheduling, it supports smooth academic functioning and timely completion of syllabus and examinations.
